Defect and Treadwear Limited Warranties
Vredestein Defect Limited Warranty
a. Free Replacement. Vredestein Banden B.V.
through an authorized VREDESTEIN dealer, will replace free of charge to the original
retail purchaser any VREDESTEIN steel belted radial passenger car tire rendered
unserviceable during the first 25% of tread life (excluding mounting, balancing, and other
dealer service charges or taxes).
b. Credit Adjustment. If any VREDESTEIN steel
belted radial passenger car tires is rendered unserviceable after the first 25% of tread
life, the tire will be adjusted on a pro-rated basis whereby the customer will receive
credit for the tread remaining before the treadwear indicator appears showing that 2/32 of
an inch or less remains (at which time the tire is considered to be worn out).
The credit will be against the then
current retail selling price of a new VREDESTEIN tire and calculated by multiplying the
purchase price of the tire on the customer's original invoice (excluding dealer service
charges and taxes) by the percentage of original tread depth remaining on the tire down to
2/32 of an inch.

Vredestein Treadwear Limited Warranty
a. Covered Tire Models. All
VREDESTEIN steel belted radial passenger car summer tires with a speed designation
"H" or "T" will be warranted to deliver 60,000 miles of tread life.
Those with a speed designation "S" will be warranted to deliver 50,000 miles of
tread life. Those with a speed designation "V" as well as Vredestein steel
belted redial passenger car winter tires models Snowtrac and Wintrac will be warranted to
deliver 40,000 miles of tread life. All VREDESTEIN steel belted radial passenger car
summer and winter tires with any speed designation other than those listed above
or, in the case of winter tires, any model not listed above, carry no treadwear warranty.
b. Credit Adjustment. Any covered
VREDESTEIN passenger car summer tire will be adjusted under the VREDESTEIN Treadwear
Limited Warranty on a pro-rated basis. The customer will receive credit
against the then current retail selling price of a new VREDESTEIN tire based on the
difference between warranted treadwear mileage and the actual odometer mileage received,
as shown on the following chart:

limited warranties:

- Additional Conditions to be met for the above warranties to
apply:
The tire owner is the original purchaser
(Warranties are not transferable);
- The tires have been rotated every 8,000 miles and records so kept, and furnished to the
dealer, if requested; applicable to treadwear warranty only.
- The tire is brought to an authorized VREDESTEIN tire dealer.
- A copy of the original purchase receipt along with a copy of the warranty form must be
submitted at the time of claim.
- Limitations on other express and implied warranties:
NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE MADE EXCEPT AS SET FORTH ABOVE AND ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTIES SUCH AS BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD OF THE VREDESTEIN DEFECT/ROAD
HAZARD LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
- Consequential and Incidental Damages Excluded.
NEITHER VREDESTEIN BANDEN B.V. NOR ITS AGENTS OR REPRESENTATIVES, THE
MANUFACTURER (IF DIFFERENT) OR THE SELLING DEALER SHALL BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF TIME,
INCONVENIENCE, LOSE OF USE OF THE VEHICLE OR ANY OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES.
Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
